ISOLATION sucks !!

The days that passed w/o Facebook and Friends....a really overwhelming torture !
We lost TV and Internet completely upon arising Sun. (12th) morning. DEAD --nada. It wasn't until Wed.{after too many calls!} I found out the truth.!! AT&T gave out no acceptable info....ref the "outage".
A call to "our" tech revealed the truth....a drunk driver had hit the "station box" and destroyed it! {I had seen the damage, but knew nothing of what happened}So, EVERYthing had to be "replaced" and restored from ground up! {trucks were still "working" on it yesterday} No idea how long the reconstruction will take them.!!
I tripped on down to Comcast Wed. morning, signed Up with them....had installation on Thurs. So there. Lamar has his TV, I've got my Net back.....smiles all around here. LOL
People, let me assure you --with NO communication "tools", it's a very lonely place! I'm not easily depressed...but I was in that state! Lamar was totally miserable. Reading, doing housework passes time, but when there is NO relaxation point --it's Nuts!!
I'm a verrrrry Social gal -- enjoy my FB family and friends so much. It was scary --being "out of touch" with the world ~in the most literal sense. The isolation is "deafening" to your psyche.
I'm not into many techie trends today --but. Browsing news, entertainment sites, cartoon stuff, general reading pleasures of the Internet are my "cup of tea".
I'm sooooooo Happy to be able to participate in the world again.!!!!{and Yes, I did phone some friends, during the off time. That did help ease the "isolation"}
Loooonnng  story short --I truly  MISSED  all my Friends and access to the world.
I would not wish those LOST feelings on anyone else.
LOVING life......Love all y'all

My 1st birthday Parteeee! I had waited a while for this one! No adjectives seem appropriate, to convey my A.Ma.Zing day. ALL the Kudos go to Donnie&Pam -the arrangements, (held in their beautiful home), deco, food & #1 Surprise of it all.!! {TY also to the SONS, for contributing $ to the party; Ronda, Vickie & Sue --for Food they brought. I had asked NO presents --just the PRESENCE, of my Family & Friends.....that fell thru! Gifts were ALL wonderful, cards so Sweet. {Sadly, a few out-of-town FRIENDS, weren't able to make the party. They were All on my mind & in my heart, tho.} 2 even mailed gifts!! TY to Betty & Charlene. Pam's deco was to the moon! So Beautiful, & my special SUNFLOWER theme.{Sunflower "love" began w/EVONNE --after she made me a Decoupage plate w/Sunflowers. the "REST OF THE STORY"......

I did soooo Love Paul Harvey. His stories were always so interesting.....and, he researched to bring a story to an often unknown ending. The "rest of the story" always let ya know.....the circle was closed on that topic for him. In that fashion....I wanted to do this blog. I love photography. I'm quite a happy amateur! Now, with Pinterest I get to see unlimited talent. This picture was one that "drew me in"....After I pinned it.....there were like 30+ other people who loved it too! This picture received the most pins on my boards. Just look at it....Never did try to track down the photographer. Only went as far as where the pin originated. LIFE Lessons .....Learning Again !!

This blog is a confession and statement of "new" learning for me. The "darkness" of an "acute" illness, and the healing from that, has been a reality check in full measure! I'm a Believer. I'm one who praises God, prays all the time, and am confident of the Love of my Father. That statement made -- I am still filled w/human nature and it's quircks! We all get "comfortable" in our everyday lives and routines. Well. Mine has been blown apart w/this "healing" process.!! It's going much more slowly than I would desire, and so much seems more difficult, and "lost" a bit. There are books written, quotes out there, and we all kinda believe --don't sweat the "small" stuff. Pfffft! It's the "small" stuff that's giving me such tough issues right now. Go figure!
