Each year I search and ponder on our  friendship. Alice IS a true, "Golden", Sista/FRIEND, BFF always. After having grown up together, in the same small town, our families are forever intertwined. Memories flood over me.....so many that, it would take a book to cover them all!! I researched the name -----ALICE. --American,Celtic--- noble. --Teutonic---  noble humor. --German--- nobility & sweet. --French--- nobility. Paraphrasing w/the name meaning....Expression #3 ...tend to be creative & excellent @ expressing themselves. ... are drawn to the arts, and often enjoy life immensely. Paraphrasing w/SoulUrge #6 ...have a deep inner desire for a stable, loving family or community, and a need to work w/others. NOBLE(adj.)----having or showing fine personal qualities or high moral principles and ideals. (good, honorable, decent, moral, ethical). A L L   of this is true and so much more!!  This is written w/a total sense of FUN and humor. It is always a matter of Respect for "yo limitations".  LOL The past couple of days, I've been playing WWF w/Sandra Gallahar. Now those of you who know her already know this.....she is a MASTER @ this game.( Really, too advanced for my playing level.) But....I   DO  love the challenge. LOL An old saying in anger.....I'm gonna wipe up the floor w/you!! Well.....she cleaned the floors on the WHOLE dang building w/me.!!!! LOL Sandra hit  BINGO  on the board @ least twice! She was just tooooooooo HOT to handle. (sometimes, you can "catch up" frm one Bingo....believe me----NOT two!! LOL There were many moments when I glanced @ the score and wanted to quit. I did not. Played the game thru to the bitter, wiped-off-the-floors end.  LOL Truly. Love this game. Scrabble is so much FUN and I enjoy the challenge.....a loss is just another chance to try and become a better player.!!! Thank You, Sandra, for my "l

Miss Vickie & I ate lunch today in Rome. It was quite a learning experience for me. I must live a "sheltered" life.!!  I've never been in one "like" this....I'm used to ours! Walk in, order, sit n eat. This was different.!! Noticed there were 2 separate sections.....one I'm familiar with, and a "restaurant" lookin area. We ordered, sat down (in "restaurant" area! HA.) and ate. Food was good as always. LUV it. Noticed ppl in front of me were fiddlin w/a Menu...?? Then, over walks a waiter and proceeds to take their "order". WTH? So. I asked hostess @ "restaurant" entrance wth was this set up!! Well. Inquiring minds wanna know! haha She explained....you can order frm a menu (which has a short few items, not on marquee) and be served @ a table. Ok. The hostess also told us they have a Breakfast bar on Tues.&Sat. hmmmmmmm.... Out the door. I 'bout busted my britches, dying laughing.!!! Well....ho

My 4 day visit w/Maxine was amazing. It pretty much was non-stop going, doing, having FUN, and enjoying time together. I think I 'bout wore her out......and in the process, myself as well. LOL We spent our time in stores not visited in quite some time, and eating @ restaurants that were "new" to our usual fare. It was GREAT. Took time to sit by the lake.....watch the choppy water lapping against rocks, seeing the boats, ducks/geese and listening to the peaceful sounds you hear in that setting. It was very relaxing and peaceful. I realized after arriving home--- Routine is good, the "familiar" comfort of FAMILY is welcomed and there are "things" which can't be replaced w/travel and "change of location". #1 is our PORCH. I missed that the most (after family!). We spend an extreme amount of time there. It is, after all, OUTside....leaving the confines of 4 walls inside. 180 degree view of trees and woods, sounds of birds,(even "J
