The 27th is a special day for ALL of us who Love Maxine. It's her Birthday! {she hits 82 today} When GOD brought her forth, into the world....he certainly BLESSED all of us, who would be lucky enough to know her, and have her in our lives. I met Maxine in the 80s, when I began work @ Kennesaw College. We have been Sista/FRIENDS, ever since that year! Too many episodes, dramas,  FUN, happiness, sadness, joy and events, we've been through to cover! Life keeps us @ a distance, sometimes, too long....but when we do get together.....look out!! Maxine is a true  Joy, Inspiration, and lovely role model to me. There are some years (haha) between our ages.....but in our Hearts, we seem to be kindred, ol souls! Friendship is priceless. "GOLDEN" friendships are even more--impossible to measure. We enjoy being together, sometimes--doing nothing more than chatting! However.....we do Love a good yard sale, or mountain trip getaway! (Missed those the last couple of yrs!!)

After the excitement of the BIG rabbit.....got a bonus a bit later!! A  BABY  rabbit came right on up to the ramp! The grass is thicker there and they love to munchie in this area. You can easily see, he is much smaller than our BIG guy.  ck'ing round....  umm....in the mouth!  whatz dat? Ears up... Enjoyin his supper..... Then, he took off. LOVE nature at her best !!

Recently, our BIG rabbit has been wandering  to the edge of the driveway. Well....he decided to "come on down" into the garden today!! That buggar! He really put "on a show", and I was there, shootin him "in the act"!!  scratchy.... foot time! ck'ing for noises... And  then............. He layed down "like a dog" !!! Stretched out to rest, maybe? Got so excited & tickled, I blurred it a bit .! Whew! I need this stretch....LOL  ...more foot cleanin!  oops...wipe my mouth n feet!!  whaz bitin me???? Ohhh, my nose itches!!! Then, he hopped on his merry way.....'round the side of the house. I  ENJOYED  the show!!  (right place, right time!!)

Today we cleaned out Lamar's clothes closet. Geez....took 'bout 3 hrs. total. Dang, that was toooo much like Work! LOL Lamar was verrrry cooperative, thank him! He pulled 'em out of the closet (NO fussin 'bout lettin go, either. Wow.) Then.....I took off hangers, ck'd for damages (99% have none), buttoned, zipped, folded and stacked for box up.!! We both felt bittersweet over this project. Hated seeing some of his beautiful shirts go!! Hoping we can find new ones in his NEW size to make us both happy. haha I bought 3 boxes......only had to use 2.....cause I'm such a goooood folder and packer!!  Blue jeans and dress pants.... Long & short-sleeved shirts.....  ain't gonna need to buy NO hangers....LOL Soon the FUN will begin.....restocking. Note: Found several dress pants, some shirts with  TAGS still ON. Yep. Men are  GUILTY  of doing that, too. Too funny !! Now, just gotta get 'em in the car and off to Habitat. Know someone will be

This is me....usually, smiling, happy---inside n out. I have NOT seen her in over a month now! The  CRUD  has been stickin all over me for that long. This is my 4th bout w/it. I'm Done. Ain't got time for this! Got smart....visited my Doc Tues. Yep. Crud may even include a "small" pneumonia spot. Loaded me up w/drugs and sent me on my miserable way! One of the "bad" meds that always gets me well...Prednisone. UGH> if ya know it, ya gotta HATE it. Doses are "graduated" frm 6 down to 1 @ end. Took the 1st six......up/down  ALL night feeling like this: Yep. Nasty med also gives ya a bad case of body sweats! Ofcourse, IF I had realized water was needed w/it, things might have gone some better. Called & Doc advised to only take 1/2 dose @ time and ...wait for it....DRINK lots of water. So, today has been a bit better....still sweats, but move along faster. GEEZ!!!!!! Ofcourse...ya KNOW who this is....TAZ, the terrible!!  Well, t

Marc was born July 10, 1973. He makes a "milestone" this yr.......the BIG 4-0!! Remember his entrance into our world.....very well!! 16hrs. of verrry INtense labor...ugh. (and the surprise...NOT a girl!) Marc has, since that day, always been our "rebel" kid. Now that is both a  good and  bad thing at times!!!! We all CHOOSE to love him, as he is. Marc is precious to my heart.  Awwwww....so cute!  @ 'bout 2 yrs. old.. Yep. Those HeeHaw overalls! GREAT smile...  Marc's FAV "stuffie"---E.T. (went EVERYwhere) w/him!  Our football player....  That truck........ YEP. He's all growed up now! HAPPY  Birthday, Marc. Hope you have a  GREAT  day. Son, I  LOVE  you ..... Just know.....you will  ALWAYS  be my Baby, cause you are!!!!

Have played "home" Scrabble since jumpin into computer world! It brought many hrs. of fun. Then...the boys challenged me to play w/HUMANs!! So, I began to "dabble" a bit w/real, LIVE people----not the computer icons. I'm  HOOKED. It is so much more--- you can interact w/friends. Win/Lose is not important....it's sharing a common interest, keepin the mind active and it is just simply  FUN. There are 8 levels to the home game. Beginner,Apprentice,Intermediate,Veteran,SMART,Elite,Master and Genius. After a looooong time, I've moved up to SMART (level 5). Ofcourse, ya win some/lose some....but just beginning to WIN against this icon. Today was my 1st HAPPY DANCE day !! Posted  Quit for 90pts......then BEAT him by  101pts. Yep.....I'm workin on that sucka!!!!!!!  LOL

Miss Vickie and I got together for lunch today.( Happy she "squeezed" me into her schedule.....as she's attending a wedding this afternoon.) Vickie had ordered some BBQ from our Euharlee, yumyum place. We picked it up while there. LUV  their sign.....LOL I noticed beauty....Perked me up after such a GRAY few days....!! These were on the left side of the restaurant.. These garden stones were @ the bottom of a sign...pretty.  These were on the right side of the restaurant.. We enjoyed a great lunch....fantastic chicken salad and fixins. Then, ofcourse, I had DESSERT -- a very tasty piece of  Buttermilk pie!! Yep.  YUM YUM It was a wonderful break from the gray, RAINY days causing "house-bound-itis" !! THANKS, Miss Vickie, for the "break-out".....LOL

My baby bro, Donnie, came into our lives July 3rd of '67. I had waited 19 loooong yrs. for a brother or sister.!! Then, it only happened AFTER I left for college...LOL Mama, Daddy and I were very excited. We were NOT ever disappointed....then to now, or forever. I was honored that they let me assist w/naming this new addition AND, I got to hold Donnie & give him a kiss right after he was born, even before Daddy!( I was waiting @ the door when the nurse brought him out.) Yep. Mama & Daddy would be very PROUD of their son. Donnie has become a good Man, Husband, Father and PawPaw. He also passes (sometimes!!) for a great baby bro, too. LOL These are a few memories....  Cute baby bro...  Early sch. days...  Ball player.....  Donnie's fav basketball number...  the  GRAD.... all "tuxed" up.... Donnie and his truck.... And.....he met Pam. BEST thing to ever come into his life. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, baby bro. I  LOVE  you more than you will eve
