Today is Eric's birthday....am Happy and content, with those memories. My yearly Physical was this morning. I'm so THANKful for a gOOd report. (waitin on blood work, yet) Down 5lbs.; BP 112/70; kidneys doing ok; EKG - good. May be able to get "off" 2 pills{experimenting for 30days, on BP & Potassium changes}. It was a good morning --'till my vein "rolled", while giving the Vampiress blood. Ouchie! Then ~ the "other" gOOd stuff began ~ NO copay for Physical. Yesss. Went to b'fast @ Shoney's. I luv their b'fast buffet...enjoyed the food {was haungry, fasting for blood work!} The waitress brought me more Tea ~told me SOMEone had  PAID  for my breakfast.!!! What a Nice surprise, indeed. Even if it is Eric's birthday, ~ I celebrate this life, too! It's truly ....a  gOOd  day for me.

Don't recall evah seeing ~ a Woodpecker take a bath! It happened today....  near the pan... IN the pan of water... *bad pic* Shakin off, after dunkin!! May nevah see again, but witnessed today's bath.  LOL Ya nevah know, what you will see, while "bird watchin"!!

The pure enjoyment, of Chippies, jus keeps comin! This morning when I feed the birds ~ accidentally spilled some on the ground. We always leave it, 'cause ya know, they Will find it, and clean it up for us! {they seem to be critters "of opportunity" !} Camera in hand, trying to get bird shot! ~ here he come! I was standing on ramp, chippie was jus below me....  ha! found the stash!  packin 'dem wittle cheeks!  seeds, slowly disappearing frm ground..  BOTH cheeks Packed Up....  ..almost done! ALL gone....and Off he ran! We do so Enjoy these little fellas/gals. Visitors here like them, too.!!!! LOVE Nature.....

Father's Day ~ June 21st My sweet Daddy, passed away in 1971. He's always, right there, in my mind - when little things remind me of him. I tell him I Love and Miss him every night. {somehow, I feel connected doing that}. Daddy left us so suddenly ~ no warning. Thankfully, I told him I loved him, the night before, got a big ol' Hug, left, and intended to see him again the next day. It didn't happen for us. There are so many memories. A couple I mention are these... My Daddy was  THE  best fisherman. He loved fishing. Whenever he and my uncles fished ~ he usually was the only one to "make the catches"! Daddy and me fished together, so many times. Remember he "made" me a bamboo pole, at a creek once. Lordy! I hung a big ol' gar! Ofcourse, Daddy helped me get him "in". I was so excited.... {1st time around!} Daddy flat did NOT approve this one.! So. I went ahead w/plans. The day I was to pick up marriage license, I was ready to...

While I was in Michigan, Lamar and Eric witnessed a cute chippie "trick"! I was jellie... Today was MY day!! {chippies are just natural, Fun entertainment!}  ha! Climbing the feeder Pole...  2nd trip...  Rest, ck surroundings for predators (me! w/camera!}  One more spot check.... MUNCHIN  down!!!!! Isn't he just the Cutest thang? !! {Ronda got to see this happen today, too.} Note: this is "new" shenanigans --usually just hops into the tray feeders.!! LOVE these lil guys.....

"Murphy" has been in my face....too long lately. Sat. {wk. ago tomorrow!} I hit a few YS. Bought a beautiful OVERsized, chair-n-a-Half. Got a real Honey of a deal! Nevah, even in a nightmare!, did I realize "Murphy"  would attack so strongly. It was an honest, sweet gesture to make Lamar more comfortable. {getting up/down out of reg. sized chair} Getting that thang Home, was a real "Murphy" rules assault! Contacted Three, different people to p/u and bring it here. "Murphy" sabatoged all of them.!! Circumstances, not in these sweet, helpful people's control....stopped the process. Last thought --call Donnie. Well. My Baby Bro, jumped in and assured me he would get it done for me. And. He DID. {I chose him last, 'cause it's an hr. away for him to help me --was trying to do it "local"} Today, promptly on time.....Austin & Avery, my 2 handsome, Strong, NEPHEWS showed up, picked up and delivered the Chair to our hous...

This thang was such FUN ~ surrounded by nostalgia, and amazing history! My Sat. was spent w/a group --BESbuds. I was contacted by Mary Jo(Page) Jeter a while back on FB. She invited me to join the group and attend the Turkey Creek Festival, Byromville, Ga. Now. Mary Jo, and several other guys and girls{beautiful people} are "kids" who attended Byromville Elementary Sch. ~~same as me!!! Now. That's a Flashback indeed! Mary Jo found this was for sale! She and Groves purchased it.....now, it sits in her back yard. Ofcourse...I had to check it out and take a ride.!! This is THE ORIGINAL merry-go-round that was a part of our Byromville Elementary playground!!! {I know, blew my mind, too!} So....I was excited to "play" on it...We all went down, sat, rode around a bit, and talked, quite some time.!! What a fascinating, FUN, nostalgic foray into being a Kid again!! {long ago!}  Merilyn, Carol and me... Merilyn, Carol and Mary Jo... Some very beautiful M...
