We have been watching the wren @ work today! It's such an interesting "show" !! She has a definite routine: Pick up pine straw(1 @ the time, sometimes 2!!); land on branch or "hanger" for feeder; fly to the "entrance"; fiddle w/straw -( now, she "turns" it in her mouth, before trying to place it inside)~~but sometimes, "stuffs" it in w/her body (as is horizontal, in her mouth); pops out, flies on top of bird house and SINGS!! I kid ya not!! Guess she's happy she got one inside.!! This work has gone on all day.....bwess her wittle heart!               w/straw to go in...               push! ....in w/straw!  *this time, she got "twisted"~~where's the head?                   caught her flying off....            how it looks when she leaves, sometimes .. Then ....the whole "dance" begins again!!!!!!! NATURE  is ...

THANK you, DENISE JACKSON , for introducing me to a new bird term.  I follow her beautiful Photography, plus, she loves birds and flowers....a kindred spirit.! I've been seeing an increase in our yellow Finches. From 1 single, to 4, and the last couple of days -- a doz. @ least!! Denise found that the term for a "gathering" of Finches is.....a  CHARM!! Go figure....who knew? I think it's a good term.....these pretty Finches do sorta "charm" ya into watching them!! My latest examples of CHARM:  today ~~ @ feeders today ~~ ground feeding Friday  ~~ ground feeding  We are happy they have returned. Lamar, however, will be visiting Tractor Supply more often, as they eat steadily ALL day!!

Pt. 2   It's all about the  LOVE This "journey" w/acute illness has been one of the toughest I've experienced, in my 65yrs.!! The "comeback" seems slow at best! I'm almost there, I can see the "light" before me~I just can't get there fast enough to pacify me!! The outpouring of LOVE is most humbling, and a bit overwhelming @ times! Prayers, beautiful cards, the calls, FB messages, flowers (frm a home garden & potted), special "packages" of goodies, visits at the hospital and home, food delivered, use of a friend's housecoat....I know I'm forgetting some things!! ugh. ALL of these wonderful expressions of LOVE and support frm Family, Priceless Friends and FB Friends/Family have really been appreciated. There aren't enough ways/words to convey my THANKS to each one of you. I know that I am "too blessed to be stressed". I'm absolutely Positive~~the people in my life are the cream of the crop, strai...

This blog is a confession and statement of "new" learning for me. The "darkness" of an "acute" illness, and the healing from that, has been a reality check in full measure! I'm a Believer. I'm one who praises God, prays all the time, and am confident of the Love of my Father. That statement made -- I am still filled w/human nature and it's quircks! We all get "comfortable" in our everyday lives and routines. Well. Mine has been blown apart w/this "healing" process.!! It's going much more slowly than I would desire, and so much seems more difficult, and "lost" a bit. There are books written, quotes out there, and we all kinda believe --don't sweat the "small" stuff. Pfffft! It's the "small" stuff that's giving me such tough issues right now. Go figure! Examples: energy to "move" and do my everyday routines; insecurity/discomfort w/the thought of driving a car (not...

At this time, there are @ least 4 women I LOVE who need PRAYERS.!! These four are all loving women of GOD, great mothers/grandmothers, beloved Friends and ~~ part of the prayer group who pulled me thru my darkest, sick days. No names. Just this: 1. Fighting PAIN of kidney stones and probable surgery     soon. W/hopes to save the kidney. 2.  Surgery coming soon for breast lump; whatever       treatment follows. 3.  Surgery soon to remove Thyroid mass and thyroid       itself. 4.  Fighting  bacterial Pneumonia. Prayer is THE most powerful tool. I believe, when it's done "en masse", it works even better! All these women are very SPECIAL in my life. I Pray they go thru these "valleys" and come out whole and well again. (THANK YOU  all for your prayers on my behalf.) Now I'm asking for these women I Love.... I hope this Prayer chain will grow and the love, grace and mercy will cover these wonderful women. Thank...
