OCTOBER .....a GOOD month !

As most know, October is the month of my birth !
I was so very Blessed this year, in so many Happy, Fun, wonderful ways.
Blessings include so many loving Friends, FB Friends, and family. I believe Oct. was "my" celebration of Life this year !

I felt more Love than can be described. ! FB birthday wishes --just upsized the Fun. Appreciated EVERYthing.
Then.....there's AMI and her Art. !!!!!
This, my friends, is the Beautiful mixed media Art piece Ami created.....for  meeeee! What an EXcellent way to "blow" the month on out !!
This is very SPECIAL to me ~~both her Art, and the reason behind this creation. 
This year, I hit #66 ~~now, I also Graduated in '66 !! Somehow, that is a "milestone" of sorts, to me.  
I was just, "in love", w/the birthday card Ami sent me on the computer. The design was so awesome.
So.....I asked if she would, design a mixed media art piece of this card. Ami is an A.Ma.Zing artist. This piece is just sooooo beautiful to me ~~and it will always be a favorite Memory of #66 !
(this will be hanging in my room !)

My 1st birthday Parteeee! I had waited a while for this one! No adjectives seem appropriate, to convey my A.Ma.Zing day. ALL the Kudos go to Donnie&Pam -the arrangements, (held in their beautiful home), deco, food & #1 Surprise of it all.!! {TY also to the SONS, for contributing $ to the party; Ronda, Vickie & Sue --for Food they brought. I had asked NO presents --just the PRESENCE, of my Family & Friends.....that fell thru! Gifts were ALL wonderful, cards so Sweet. {Sadly, a few out-of-town FRIENDS, weren't able to make the party. They were All on my mind & in my heart, tho.} 2 even mailed gifts!! TY to Betty & Charlene. Pam's deco was to the moon! So Beautiful, & my special SUNFLOWER theme.{Sunflower "love" began w/EVONNE --after she made me a Decoupage plate w/Sunflowers. LIFE Lessons .....Learning Again !!

This blog is a confession and statement of "new" learning for me. The "darkness" of an "acute" illness, and the healing from that, has been a reality check in full measure! I'm a Believer. I'm one who praises God, prays all the time, and am confident of the Love of my Father. That statement made -- I am still filled w/human nature and it's quircks! We all get "comfortable" in our everyday lives and routines. Well. Mine has been blown apart w/this "healing" process.!! It's going much more slowly than I would desire, and so much seems more difficult, and "lost" a bit. There are books written, quotes out there, and we all kinda believe --don't sweat the "small" stuff. Pfffft! It's the "small" stuff that's giving me such tough issues right now. Go figure! the "REST OF THE STORY"......

I did soooo Love Paul Harvey. His stories were always so interesting.....and, he researched to bring a story to an often unknown ending. The "rest of the story" always let ya know.....the circle was closed on that topic for him. In that fashion....I wanted to do this blog. I love photography. I'm quite a happy amateur! Now, with Pinterest I get to see unlimited talent. This picture was one that "drew me in"....After I pinned it.....there were like 30+ other people who loved it too! This picture received the most pins on my boards. Just look at it....Never did try to track down the photographer. Only went as far as where the pin originated. Browsing pinterest boards is a fun pastime. I enjoy "following" pictures/quotes and such as far as I dare. In browsing.....I "fell into" a site. The photographer is TIMOTHY WALKER.
