GRANDkids make Christmas
Drove over to see C'ville grandkids this mornin. They were soooo excited and had TOO much to believe!! Got loving HUGS and watched a short time while they ran from one thing to another to show us. Parents seemed happy just watching them have fun and enjoy their new toys. I remember those days...even if they were a l o n g time ago for us as parents. The bright eyes, the excited voices, the swing from one thing to another. Good memories.
Now, we're grandparents and the joy these kids bring us is impossible to describe in words.
Then, called Mich. grandkids to wish them Merry Christmas. Was disappointed, had to leave a message.....wow! in a short time, they called us back. We got to talk to Brandon & Chellsey and hear about their day.
They had 5"(?) of snow on the ground & it was 30degrees there! They are headed out to a family Christmas dinner. It was so wonderful to be able to talk to them. We miss them soooooooo much. They are teenagers now!
It takes so little to make grandparents happy---just being able to LOVE and enjoy conversations with our GRANDkids certainly fill that space in our hearts.
We still & always will love our grown sons, but these GRANDkids are totally the cat's meow...ha ha
We thank God for the blessing of our FOUR beautiful GRANDkids. Even got lucky enough to have 2 grandsons & 2 granddaughters---how divine!!!
It's a much merrier Christmas for me & GrandPa now, we've made contact with ALL our beautiful grandkids....oh happy day!
