...A Necessary EVIL!!

HATE - dislike intensely,be sick of,loathe,feel malice to,object to & look on contemptuously.
That's the emotions this pix evokes within me!!!!!!!!!!
Necessary evil - Cambridge dictionary (British English) states ...something you do not like doing but which you know must be done....

Since Wed. the above items have encroached into my mostly happy life!! Was using 1 of them, then Dr. added a new one, plus suggested taking 2 of the one I was avoiding....UGH! 
It must be noted that I DO NOT like drugs...I despise having to take those things,even which promote me stayin on this earth a while longer...lol
Now, these heavy-duty pain meds. seem to be controlling my ability to motivate freely! These + heating pad & my bed! Most of the last few days have been spent drugged out & confined to bed, just to ease the pain. Even simply walkin hurts after a small window of time...UGH.
Now important to know is that I have a very LOW tolerance to pain meds....if I take a mere Benedryl, I can be knocked out for 3-4hrs....so these little devils really knock me down hard!
Today is my best day so far since Wed. I've been UP & out of bed since about 7am today....YEAH! Now, that being said, I'm hoping tomorrow will even give me more "alive" time...lol
I found that if I put my heating pad in my computer chair, I can at least do this....no housework, loading dishes, and especially NO riding in a vehicle...:((   (tried that ridin thang Sat....it sucked!!) 
I truly believe these pain meds are a necessary evil...w/emphasis on the evil! The way these kinds of drugs make me feel is definitely NOT my idea of livin...lol
I cannot fathom how people can "do" drugs & live...there can be no quality of life w/such loss of usefulness & disorientation, + the feeling of no energy to move the butt along...lol  
This is my 2nd round w/hip-leg problem...believed to be a sprain or pulled muscle(s). Thankfully, these 2 have come w/loooong separations in time!
I'm lookin fwd to each day being easier to go "off" these evil thangs!!
Just sayin.....I gotta do what I gotta do---but I DON'T have to like it...lol

My 1st birthday Parteeee! I had waited a while for this one! No adjectives seem appropriate, to convey my A.Ma.Zing day. ALL the Kudos go to Donnie&Pam -the arrangements, (held in their beautiful home), deco, food & #1 Surprise of it all.!! {TY also to the SONS, for contributing $ to the party; Ronda, Vickie & Sue --for Food they brought. I had asked NO presents --just the PRESENCE, of my Family & Friends.....that fell thru! Gifts were ALL wonderful, cards so Sweet. {Sadly, a few out-of-town FRIENDS, weren't able to make the party. They were All on my mind & in my heart, tho.} 2 even mailed gifts!! TY to Betty & Charlene. Pam's deco was to the moon! So Beautiful, & my special SUNFLOWER theme.{Sunflower "love" began w/EVONNE --after she made me a Decoupage plate w/Sunflowers. LIFE Lessons .....Learning Again !!

This blog is a confession and statement of "new" learning for me. The "darkness" of an "acute" illness, and the healing from that, has been a reality check in full measure! I'm a Believer. I'm one who praises God, prays all the time, and am confident of the Love of my Father. That statement made -- I am still filled w/human nature and it's quircks! We all get "comfortable" in our everyday lives and routines. Well. Mine has been blown apart w/this "healing" process.!! It's going much more slowly than I would desire, and so much seems more difficult, and "lost" a bit. There are books written, quotes out there, and we all kinda believe --don't sweat the "small" stuff. Pfffft! It's the "small" stuff that's giving me such tough issues right now. Go figure! the "REST OF THE STORY"......

I did soooo Love Paul Harvey. His stories were always so interesting.....and, he researched to bring a story to an often unknown ending. The "rest of the story" always let ya know.....the circle was closed on that topic for him. In that fashion....I wanted to do this blog. I love photography. I'm quite a happy amateur! Now, with Pinterest I get to see unlimited talent. This picture was one that "drew me in"....After I pinned it.....there were like 30+ other people who loved it too! This picture received the most pins on my boards. Just look at it....Never did try to track down the photographer. Only went as far as where the pin originated.
