Lesson of LIGHT....

LIGHT. Thankful for the Sun, peeking out to warm up, melt out, and UPlift spirits!
These past few DARK, snowy, icy, cold days have been a real struggle for me. I do NOT like---dark days, housebound, and loss of social interaction w/friends and family.
GOD is good.....he's now given us LIGHT again!
I found that, during this time, having FB was my "outlet" for fun and connection w/other humans! {Won't even think about IF I had lost power and FB!!} Ofcourse. I do love Lamar and Ariel, but I miss the "other" part of my life-----outdoors and on the move!
Freezing, literally,  while taking pictures was also a bit ruff! I cannot help myself---it's an addiction. I MUST take pictures, it's my inner nature....wanting to "record" these events.  Stopping "moments in time" for reflection later.
I don't like the "dark" side...I much prefer the LIGHT!
Thankfully, again, we got thru it without losing power (yet!) and 1 large limb came down beyond the house. GOD truly got us thru and we are blessed.
Have a great LIGHT-filled day everyone! Light is truly a BLESSING.
Note: The flocks of birds have left the sanctuary! A very small handful out there today. It was quite an eye-catching experience! seeing sooooo many.

My 1st birthday Parteeee! I had waited a while for this one! No adjectives seem appropriate, to convey my A.Ma.Zing day. ALL the Kudos go to Donnie&Pam -the arrangements, (held in their beautiful home), deco, food & #1 Surprise of it all.!! {TY also to the SONS, for contributing $ to the party; Ronda, Vickie & Sue --for Food they brought. I had asked NO presents --just the PRESENCE, of my Family & Friends.....that fell thru! Gifts were ALL wonderful, cards so Sweet. {Sadly, a few out-of-town FRIENDS, weren't able to make the party. They were All on my mind & in my heart, tho.} 2 even mailed gifts!! TY to Betty & Charlene. Pam's deco was to the moon! So Beautiful, & my special SUNFLOWER theme.{Sunflower "love" began w/EVONNE --after she made me a Decoupage plate w/Sunflowers. Still hangs in my kitchen.} There were SUNFLOWERS, Everywhere! {even in the bathroom! So cute.} The cake....w/Cupcakes.... It was a ME day! Pictures w/Family

LIFE Lessons .....Learning Again !!

This blog is a confession and statement of "new" learning for me. The "darkness" of an "acute" illness, and the healing from that, has been a reality check in full measure! I'm a Believer. I'm one who praises God, prays all the time, and am confident of the Love of my Father. That statement made -- I am still filled w/human nature and it's quircks! We all get "comfortable" in our everyday lives and routines. Well. Mine has been blown apart w/this "healing" process.!! It's going much more slowly than I would desire, and so much seems more difficult, and "lost" a bit. There are books written, quotes out there, and we all kinda believe --don't sweat the "small" stuff. Pfffft! It's the "small" stuff that's giving me such tough issues right now. Go figure! the "REST OF THE STORY"......

I did soooo Love Paul Harvey. His stories were always so interesting.....and, he researched to bring a story to an often unknown ending. The "rest of the story" always let ya know.....the circle was closed on that topic for him. In that fashion....I wanted to do this blog. I love photography. I'm quite a happy amateur! Now, with Pinterest I get to see unlimited talent. This picture was one that "drew me in"....After I pinned it.....there were like 30+ other people who loved it too! This picture received the most pins on my boards. Just look at it....Never did try to track down the photographer. Only went as far as where the pin originated. Browsing pinterest boards is a fun pastime. I enjoy "following" pictures/quotes and such as far as I dare. In browsing.....I "fell into" a site. The photographer is TIMOTHY WALKER.
