Rushin Roulette...


Now everyone knows playin Russian Roulette can kill ya! I'm talkin a different genre...
There is a certain "short cut" into parts of town we visit often...motorin thru this path sometimes STOPs you in your tire tracks!!
There are 2 RR tracks you must cross....1 is mostly unused since 
that plant is about closed down. 
 The 2nd set of tracks are very busy!!! You can bet your puttutie (not a word, of course!) that when we start to town on our favorite "short cut"....there's gonna be a train!! Not just any train...but a COAL train which always seems to be bout a mile loooonnnng...lol
Point of story: I've always heard you have a 50/50 chance in life -- you either get a yes or a no...very seldom a maybe. So....I usually will take my chances! Sometimes we're rewarded with a clear pass on over to the "other side", BUT, just as often---we get stopped on all 4s...lol
Now I know the importance of train transport. So, my question is, why can't they build an overpass---just for us???????? HAHAHAHA
 Seems reasonable in my thinkin.....

This movie made an unexpected visit here Christmas Eve! Donnie, being the prankster he is!, and Pam decided to play a "funny" on Stacey & Marc. Some of you may know.....Stacey was able this yr. to purchase a house. We've all been so excited for them, and now their money goes NOT to rent, but into a home that will be theirs to grow the kids there. They moved into the house 'bout July. Within a couple of months.....they had to replace the air conditioning system AND dig up the septic....ugh. Now, unfortunately, there seems to be some damage to the roof. ugh. (piece of ceiling in kitchen "fell in"). It's been a tough time for repairs/replacements! So, Donnie went out, searched and found this movie.....gave it to Stacey & Marc as a "gift"......It really WAS quite funny (at the moment!) Notice the looks on Stacey & Marc's faces in these..... #7 - 0 CELEBRATION !

My 1st birthday Parteeee! I had waited a while for this one! No adjectives seem appropriate, to convey my A.Ma.Zing day. ALL the Kudos go to Donnie&Pam -the arrangements, (held in their beautiful home), deco, food & #1 Surprise of it all.!! {TY also to the SONS, for contributing $ to the party; Ronda, Vickie & Sue --for Food they brought. I had asked NO presents --just the PRESENCE, of my Family & Friends.....that fell thru! Gifts were ALL wonderful, cards so Sweet. {Sadly, a few out-of-town FRIENDS, weren't able to make the party. They were All on my mind & in my heart, tho.} 2 even mailed gifts!! TY to Betty & Charlene. Pam's deco was to the moon! So Beautiful, & my special SUNFLOWER theme.{Sunflower "love" began w/EVONNE --after she made me a Decoupage plate w/Sunflowers. Still hangs in my kitchen.} There were SUNFLOWERS, Everywhere! {even in the bathroom! So cute.} The cake....w/Cupcakes.... It was a ME day! Pictures w/Family

the "REST OF THE STORY"......

I did soooo Love Paul Harvey. His stories were always so interesting.....and, he researched to bring a story to an often unknown ending. The "rest of the story" always let ya know.....the circle was closed on that topic for him. In that fashion....I wanted to do this blog. I love photography. I'm quite a happy amateur! Now, with Pinterest I get to see unlimited talent. This picture was one that "drew me in"....After I pinned it.....there were like 30+ other people who loved it too! This picture received the most pins on my boards. Just look at it....Never did try to track down the photographer. Only went as far as where the pin originated. Browsing pinterest boards is a fun pastime. I enjoy "following" pictures/quotes and such as far as I dare. In browsing.....I "fell into" a site. The photographer is TIMOTHY WALKER.
