This was a totally working hard day! We knew we had a water leak..grrrr  Had called the refrigerator repair guys. Thought leak was from Ice Maker hose. Lamar became "sure", this morning,  it was a hose into the house, not the refrigerator problem. {only way to locate was to MOVE the frig, check behind to see}!! We began the morning by removing EVERYthing from under the cabinet, and out of our new Pantry (next to the frig) ~~to open up the area, so we could find the leak. WHEW! what a freakin "job" that is to complete. I called Marc, to come help the repair guys....woke him up from his sleep....He wasn't so happy w/his Mama. Marc did come over, pulled out the frig (by himself!) and soon found the leak. It indeed was a hose into the house, and thankfully, not the frig Ice Maker hose. Marc made quick work of it.....and he was Off --to shop w/the kids.  (Christmas money was burnin 'em down!!) This is what a kitchen looks like w/EVERYthing out of the cabin...

GRANDS....who live sooooooo far away in Michigan!! Heartbreaking, that we seldom get to "lay eyes" on them in person........ I try to "keep in touch" as best I can. They both work, so it's hard on the phone. I do get Lucky, sometimes, and briefly chat on FB. Christmas usually gathers the local Grands and family together. But.  I  truly do MISS these, now grown, youngens! Recently, I  received these replies on FB: Short, sweet, and means  MORE than they could ever realize. Exactly what every GRANDma wants --to be Acknowledged and Loved !! Sometimes.......it  IS  the small "things" that truly DO make us HAPPY. Those two beautiful youngens are  Always on our minds, and Forever in our Hearts..........

{My heart is so full of joy! Thanksgiving w/Family is such a great blessing.}  I was able to fulfill a long, OVERdue return to Bonnie. So many years ago, I can't put a number to, I came into possession of 2 beautiful, engraved Christmas ornaments. 2 things I knew --they needed to return to their owner, and, there was a story to be learned about them.  I'd "find" them ~ know I needed to mail them, ~~only to "find" again, the same precious items, ~~still in my possession! Frustrating indeed!  {It seems they just kept getting "lost"/moved, and the follow through didn't happen.!!} It  DID happen. Soon after Bonnie arrived (Wed. night) I presented them to her. It was such a sweet moment....  ..uncovering them Now. They are back where they always belonged....in her hands. The story ~~she and her Mom (our beloved Evonne) had been together when they were purchased. Then, Bonnie actually did the engraving ~~Summer, Draven ~~ on them herself. ...

This weekend, Eric n Pattie came down, to pick up furniture and her storage items. Now, that they are "in" their new home,......all must be "collected" and wind up in this new home. Major decision was made by us ~~we would give Eric our KING-sized bed. For sure, it hasn't been used in years by us! (only recent use was when David lived w/us that 6mos. or so). Lamar hasn't slept in an actual bed in years!!...he has an oversized Recliner, for easier breathing position. It caused me "mixed emotions", since that had been ours since early married years. I'm over it ! Lamar had no problem "letting it go". Eric likes that handmade, Pine bed and it is beautiful. We know it's "in the family" and will be loved !  ...here it goes ...loaded into trailer Eric's great FRIEND ~Greg, came and helped load ALL this stuff. There was items @ Marc's house, and in Douglasville to retrieve. GREG saved us! He will take the load...

As most know, October is the month of my birth ! I was so very Blessed this year, in so many Happy, Fun, wonderful ways. Blessings include so many loving Friends, FB Friends, and family. I believe Oct. was "my" celebration of Life this year ! Abundance of sweet memories....  PURPLE ~~ was the "theme" - hair & clothes !!  B'day LUNCH w/girlFriends  @  Red Lobster ..  STUPID Geisha Rubber hat !!, Supper w/Lamar @ Tokyo Restaurant ..  Beautiful  FLOWERS --frm Donnie, Pam n family ...  UNexpected "beauty" frm the girlFriends ~~PANDORA bracelet w/2 silver Butterfly charms. Wow!  Loving, Sweet Cards ~~frm Friends n Family ... My personal "treats", for meeee !!  LOL I felt more Love than can be described. ! FB birthday wishes --just upsized the Fun. Appreciated EVERYthing. Then.....there's AMI and her Art. !!!!! This, my friends, is the Beautiful mixed media Art piece Ami created.....for  meeeee! Wh...

Today, in the mail, I received a picture. It is of graduation, 1966 !! It's  meeeee!! This "memory" was in good hands, all these years, with Alice Hall !! I had recently posted to FB my only grad pic, for flashback. That was the the "bell" that went ringing for Alice! She remembered ~~ Ami and Ginger were going thru her pictures to retrieve those they wanted to keep. They found this one, but were unsure, at the time, who that gal was in the picture.! Alice recalled that "digging" session, looked and found this for me. !! (after seeing mine)  How  COOOOOL  is that! That  IS  the moment, I was being handed my Diploma !! Alice doesn't remember who took the pic....her or Rick. Surprise ! This is the beautiful Pandora bracelet, w/2 silver butterflies I received on my b'day. I  LUV  it! (I have nevah even thought of buying one, or doing the "charm" thang!) Sweet girlFRIENDS gave this to me. I love those kinda surprises !! I took it off, when I got home, and put it "up"....safely.??I'm (as a norm) usually very careful w/loved things. People -- I've about lost my "grip" on self-trust the last few days!! After cleaning my business desk, in the dining room, I found the boxes that was with it. So. Decided to return the bracelet to the box....would be "easy" to find, when next I want to wear it. Honey please. It was NOwhere to be found.!! I tried to "back-track" and revisit my return home. I KNEW it was inside, because I had proudly shown it to Lamar. I went bonkers --more like cray-cray!! My search was EVERY location in the house, jewelry box, under the bed (case I dropped it), and even every inch I could c...

Since early morning, we've been hearing a helicopter. Sometimes we hear them, when there are bad wrecks on 75. This just kept on, and on, and on....... So. Lamar had to put gas in the truck, asked if I wanted to ride along, and see if we could "spot" the helicopter. Well...duh. OFcourse!! I spotted it quickly, on the "spur" road from our house! Lamar pulled over, so I could get my pics. (he's so good to me..haha!)  1st sighted...helicopter w/steel cable hangin down....  ..just above the power lines  ..hangin frm copter -- he's trimming trees !!  ...further, you can see blades & copter together  ...pilot be "hangin" his head out to watch blade !  then....he came towards me!!  ...Awesome sight!  ..over my head, down left side of road ...blades sawin 'dem trees off !! Red truck, decided to turn around & leave the area !!  ..best guess, 'bout  10 of 'dem Saw Blades, hangin frm a copter!! Ye...

This past week has been a "whirlwind" of adventure, Fun, filled w/Love and happiness! Friday, the 10th, went and got my Mani-Pedi ~~enjoyed that.....put a wittle Sparkle on 'em...! Monday, 13th, celebration w/girlFRIENDs @ Red Lobster...amazing time ~ Thursday, 16th, had supper w/my wonderful Lamar @ Tokyo Japanese Restaurant...giggles and Fun there, too! that  SILLY, rubber "hat"....hehehe Friday, 17th, my "for real" birth date ~~Miss Vickie and I went to Bath & Body Works, TJ Maxx and had lunch @ Olive Garden. (no pics!!) note: our waiter, Charles, negotiated my Dessert for FREE!! and it was Chocolate n good. Yes! PURPLE was my "theme", as that is my Fav color. Found some pretty Cover photos for FB and used those, along with coloring my hair! The wearing of PURPLE was center stage! PURPLE clothes, watch, and added some "tats" to my hands... The temp "tats" were Butterflies!   I thin...

Tonight I really had  FUN! We went "out" for my b'day supper. I wanted to eat here, w/the girlFriends....but they were closed, @ the time we could all get together. Bummers! I love these restaurants. The food was a.ma.zing, and the FUN was the "icing".  ...salad  whoa!  Fried Rice.....heart it  !! ...and so we begin.  LMAO....the "hat" the b'day person Wears!!!  It's a Rubber, Geisha "hat"....LMAO  ..singing b'day song! Drum and all....haha "Dessert".....brought it home for Lamar  {NOT Chocolate}!!!!!!!!!!! It really was EXcellent food, good service, and a whole lotta FUN ~~for me, and Lamar enjoyed it, too. (there was a young boy there, his b'day is Sat.~he got to wear the guy hat!!!) Recommend this restaurant to everyone....
