Chocolate SUICIDE....!!!!!!!

Today Vickie & I ventured out to Bath&Body Works. We had decided to also have lunch @ the Marietta Diner.
This restaurant is quite well known and we had wanted to try it out.
This is just a bit of what the parking lot looked like when we got there about 1pm!
I like the "atmosphere" of this diner, too.
These are the sconces they use....also the wall we sat next to was mirrored.
I ordered Eggplant Parmesan w/spaghetti.It was delish!
Ordered Stuffed mushrooms, too. LUV those buggars!
There were REAL pieces of crabmeat....the mushrooms were very large, too. Delish!
Ofcourse, I saved room for dessert....my favorite part of any meal...LOL
Now ... there is an entire display for cheesecake & pies. Then on the other side.....there it is! A display for huge specialty CAKES. Now, it only took me a split second to see that chocolate cake! The waiter told me it has 4 different chocolates. Yep. That's the one for me.
It even has a name: Chocolate Suicide.....
Now, that cake will knock yo crocks off!!!!!! hahaha
Vickie said the cake was so moist, it was hard to keep it on the fork!! Now me....I just quickly took that TOP layer off....w/that glob of choc. fudge and not much cake. Ha! why waste time...go for the ICING...LOL
We didn't have lunch....it was a DINING experience for sure.
What a trip! LUV'd it start to finish......

My 1st birthday Parteeee! I had waited a while for this one! No adjectives seem appropriate, to convey my A.Ma.Zing day. ALL the Kudos go to Donnie&Pam -the arrangements, (held in their beautiful home), deco, food & #1 Surprise of it all.!! {TY also to the SONS, for contributing $ to the party; Ronda, Vickie & Sue --for Food they brought. I had asked NO presents --just the PRESENCE, of my Family & Friends.....that fell thru! Gifts were ALL wonderful, cards so Sweet. {Sadly, a few out-of-town FRIENDS, weren't able to make the party. They were All on my mind & in my heart, tho.} 2 even mailed gifts!! TY to Betty & Charlene. Pam's deco was to the moon! So Beautiful, & my special SUNFLOWER theme.{Sunflower "love" began w/EVONNE --after she made me a Decoupage plate w/Sunflowers. Still hangs in my kitchen.} There were SUNFLOWERS, Everywhere! {even in the bathroom! So cute.} The cake....w/Cupcakes.... It was a ME day! Pictures w/Family

LIFE Lessons .....Learning Again !!

This blog is a confession and statement of "new" learning for me. The "darkness" of an "acute" illness, and the healing from that, has been a reality check in full measure! I'm a Believer. I'm one who praises God, prays all the time, and am confident of the Love of my Father. That statement made -- I am still filled w/human nature and it's quircks! We all get "comfortable" in our everyday lives and routines. Well. Mine has been blown apart w/this "healing" process.!! It's going much more slowly than I would desire, and so much seems more difficult, and "lost" a bit. There are books written, quotes out there, and we all kinda believe --don't sweat the "small" stuff. Pfffft! It's the "small" stuff that's giving me such tough issues right now. Go figure! the "REST OF THE STORY"......

I did soooo Love Paul Harvey. His stories were always so interesting.....and, he researched to bring a story to an often unknown ending. The "rest of the story" always let ya know.....the circle was closed on that topic for him. In that fashion....I wanted to do this blog. I love photography. I'm quite a happy amateur! Now, with Pinterest I get to see unlimited talent. This picture was one that "drew me in"....After I pinned it.....there were like 30+ other people who loved it too! This picture received the most pins on my boards. Just look at it....Never did try to track down the photographer. Only went as far as where the pin originated.
