Curious ORANGE.......

Pore fungi (Polyporaceae and Ganodermataceae) also occur on trees in shades of orange. Pore fungi members look like brackets or shelves attached to living or dead trees.

Now I know, from above info, what I saw today.
As I was walking Ariel, noticed this bright orange fungus on an older cedar tree:
I have no memory of ever seeing this prior to this year.  
Always something new to see............when ya live in the "woods" !!

LIFE Lessons .....Learning Again !!

This blog is a confession and statement of "new" learning for me. The "darkness" of an "acute" illness, and the healing from that, has been a reality check in full measure! I'm a Believer. I'm one who praises God, prays all the time, and am confident of the Love of my Father. That statement made -- I am still filled w/human nature and it's quircks! We all get "comfortable" in our everyday lives and routines. Well. Mine has been blown apart w/this "healing" process.!! It's going much more slowly than I would desire, and so much seems more difficult, and "lost" a bit. the "REST OF THE STORY"......

I did soooo Love Paul Harvey. His stories were always so interesting.....and, he researched to bring a story to an often unknown ending. The "rest of the story" always let ya know.....the circle was closed on that topic for him. In that fashion....I wanted to do this blog. I love photography. I'm quite a happy amateur! Now, with Pinterest I get to see unlimited talent. This picture was one that "drew me in"....After I pinned it.....there were like 30+ other people who loved it too! This picture received the most pins on my boards. Just look at it....Never did try to track down the photographer. Only went as far as where the pin originated.
