AROUND the Mountain....yet again !!

Joyce Meyer states in sermons.....IF you don't learn from something....you can go 'round that mountain until you do!
The last few days, I've been 'round that mountain.
It's not healthy to be so loving of any THING. I know that.
Facebook has opened a "new" world for me. Retirement is truly a new lifestyle! I find myself w/monthly business,  running errands to keep this life going (groceries and such), and whatever comes up----we handle.
When that's done....I do rely on my retired-life routine.
Heavily am a "creature of habit"!! Get up @ 7am, take my BP med, go for the caffine (my TEA), take Ariel for her morning walk......then it's MY time to say  hello to my world.!!
Yep. Hit the Facebook. Read the news, weather.Ck on Pinterest!
I find much enjoyment in FB---being able to communicate socially w/friends and family. It brings me JOY. Yep. I'm hooked, lined and sunk...LOL
The past 3 days were totally MISERABLE for me.....NO internet. I felt lonely and "lost" w/o being able to "see" and participate in FB!!!!!!!
Four walls, only radio.....Ofcourse, there are books, but I was way past MOODY and not up for that!
Saving grace was that (w/o internet) was able to "play" my home Scrabble game. I did. Also, spent time accessing photos -- deleting poor shots, organizing folders and such. (that really does need a completion date!) I was also able to use Media Player for my personal music choices. So. Not totally paralyzed -- sort of!!
Point --I know so vividly, attachment to such "things" is unnecessary, for some. It can so quickly be gone!! For me --it is fresh breath EVERY day. It is my relaxation, time well-spent learning, reading and interacting w/real LIVE people. People I  LOVE.....
Have I learned? Yes. That I do  NOT  want to be w/o  Facebook every day.!!! Guess that "mountain" is still there for me............

My 1st birthday Parteeee! I had waited a while for this one! No adjectives seem appropriate, to convey my A.Ma.Zing day. ALL the Kudos go to Donnie&Pam -the arrangements, (held in their beautiful home), deco, food & #1 Surprise of it all.!! {TY also to the SONS, for contributing $ to the party; Ronda, Vickie & Sue --for Food they brought. I had asked NO presents --just the PRESENCE, of my Family & Friends.....that fell thru! Gifts were ALL wonderful, cards so Sweet. {Sadly, a few out-of-town FRIENDS, weren't able to make the party. They were All on my mind & in my heart, tho.} 2 even mailed gifts!! TY to Betty & Charlene. Pam's deco was to the moon! So Beautiful, & my special SUNFLOWER theme.{Sunflower "love" began w/EVONNE --after she made me a Decoupage plate w/Sunflowers. Still hangs in my kitchen.} There were SUNFLOWERS, Everywhere! {even in the bathroom! So cute.} The cake....w/Cupcakes.... It was a ME day! Pictures w/Family

the "REST OF THE STORY"......

I did soooo Love Paul Harvey. His stories were always so interesting.....and, he researched to bring a story to an often unknown ending. The "rest of the story" always let ya know.....the circle was closed on that topic for him. In that fashion....I wanted to do this blog. I love photography. I'm quite a happy amateur! Now, with Pinterest I get to see unlimited talent. This picture was one that "drew me in"....After I pinned it.....there were like 30+ other people who loved it too! This picture received the most pins on my boards. Just look at it....Never did try to track down the photographer. Only went as far as where the pin originated. Browsing pinterest boards is a fun pastime. I enjoy "following" pictures/quotes and such as far as I dare. In browsing.....I "fell into" a site. The photographer is TIMOTHY WALKER. LIFE Lessons .....Learning Again !!

This blog is a confession and statement of "new" learning for me. The "darkness" of an "acute" illness, and the healing from that, has been a reality check in full measure! I'm a Believer. I'm one who praises God, prays all the time, and am confident of the Love of my Father. That statement made -- I am still filled w/human nature and it's quircks! We all get "comfortable" in our everyday lives and routines. Well. Mine has been blown apart w/this "healing" process.!! It's going much more slowly than I would desire, and so much seems more difficult, and "lost" a bit. There are books written, quotes out there, and we all kinda believe --don't sweat the "small" stuff. Pfffft! It's the "small" stuff that's giving me such tough issues right now. Go figure!
