NOW You Tell Me!!!!!!!!!!

Sunday was such a beautiful day. Sunshine, slow breezes, no real schedule to complete.
I'm so happy & addicted to my new camera! The zoom on this sucker "gets me there" for whatever I'm shootin....I've quickly become bored w/ground shots of anything! 
Decision made to ride out to Red Top Mtn. and w/my camera, to look @ things in a more  
attentive way.

 First stopped at the bridge and boat launch area...then on to find log cabin. The cabin has a history (can't find actual article to read). It was sitting at the end of the Vaughn Rd....where we live. The cabin was totally dismantled, moved to Red Top for historic preservation, and rebuilt from bottom to top.

It is very well known around here. 
I went to the area and took pictures. I was truly amazed at how beautiful it is. When out here, there was siding on it!!! ugh. ..Now it is in "raw form" and beautiful again. A true testament to how well-built log homes were "back then".
Next, I mozzied on to the Visitor Loop for a short walk. NOT! Upon completion of my walk I asked the Ranger---she saw I was "bushed"!!--the length of that "loop". She said it was ONE mile!! She also said it's a tough walk for some beginners. Right...NOW she tells me...lol
It was an enjoyable walk. However, truthfully, that last 15min. of the hike---I had to sit down a couple of times to "catch my breath" and regroup for that up-hill climb!! I am proud that I made it to the finish. I'm not a complete novice---do walk @ Dellinger Park, and that's usually a mile +out there. Just sayin....lol
My disappointment was NO birds, insects, or animals of any kind crossed my walkin path! Oh well, maybe next time........
An afternoon spent happily meandering.....
