It's 3 A.M. and I'm all alone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I actually had already been up 15 min. before I took this today!!! UGH. right.
This was my destination. Rule is: you must be THERE promptly by 7 A.M. in order to get same-day service! It's sign in, 1st come, 1st served.
My journey began as I left home @ 4:15 A.M.  Ugh. right. It was a nasty trip! The FOG was dense, roads unfamiliar (even w/Lamar's instructions), and my personal "brain" FOG....lol
I stopped for reinforced directions....I was a bit "off" my intended route. In spite of all these "murphy" opponents.....I arrived @ 6:15 A.M.  Signed in....#2 , yes!!
Needless to say, it was the  looooooong -est day I can remember!!
The payoff was BIG, though. I now have a brand new smile.........lol
It's was Mon. pm, ONE WHOLE WEEK ago.....my top plate cracked for the 3rd time.!! No hope to repair this time. I had postponed this replacement about 2 yrs. w/repairs.
So my diet has been totally screwed. NO meat or anything w/crust of any kind. I survived, ofcourse. Am now very tired of: soup, cream taters, tuna, soft-squishy toast and applesauce. No joke.(these things don't really "fill" ya or give any energy assist.)
On this looooong day---guesstimate I must have took on 'bout 200 carbs. Ouch. This on the heels of my resolve to "diet", watching carbs w/Lamar. Oh, well....I'll begin anew. Not going to quit.
Truthfully.....I really DID enjoy that Medium CHOCOLATE  Frosty today!  hahaha
Coming home went much faster.....1 1/2 hrs. vs this mornin--taking 2 FULL hours.
Hey....I'll take all the HOME  time I can get after this day! Get to sleep in until 7 a.m. tomorrow. YES.
*****VIP***** Thank God for being my pilot this morning. Also thanks to all my precious friends who said a prayer for my safety on this "lonely" trip. I KNOW between God's grace & the prayers----I was able to survive the fog & tooooooo early morning driving time.

ALL the Kudos go to Donnie&Pam -the arrangements, (held in their beautiful home), deco, food & #1 Surprise of it all.!! {TY also to the SONS, for contributing $ to the party; Ronda, Vickie & Sue --for Food they brought. I had asked NO presents --just the PRESENCE, of my Family & Friends.....that fell thru! Gifts were ALL wonderful, cards so Sweet. {Sadly, a few out-of-town FRIENDS, weren't able to make the party. So Beautiful, & my special SUNFLOWER theme.{Sunflower "love" began w/EVONNE --after she made me a Decoupage plate w/Sunflowers. Still hangs in my kitchen.} There were SUNFLOWERS, Everywhere! {even in the bathroom! So cute.} The cake....w/Cupcakes.... It was a ME day! Pictures w/Family

the "REST OF THE STORY"......

I did soooo Love Paul Harvey. His stories were always so interesting.....and, he researched to bring a story to an often unknown ending. The "rest of the story" always let ya know.....the circle was closed on that topic for him. In that fashion....I wanted to do this blog. I love photography. I'm quite a happy amateur! Now, with Pinterest I get to see unlimited talent. This picture was one that "drew me in"....After I pinned it.....there were like 30+ other people who loved it too! This picture received the most pins on my boards. Just look at it....Never did try to track down the photographer. Only went as far as where the pin originated. Browsing pinterest boards is a fun pastime. I enjoy "following" pictures/quotes and such as far as I dare. In browsing.....I "fell into" a site. The photographer is TIMOTHY WALKER. LIFE Lessons .....Learning Again !!

This blog is a confession and statement of "new" learning for me. The "darkness" of an "acute" illness, and the healing from that, has been a reality check in full measure! I'm a Believer. I'm one who praises God, prays all the time, and am confident of the Love of my Father. That statement made -- I am still filled w/human nature and it's quircks! We all get "comfortable" in our everyday lives and routines. Well. Mine has been blown apart w/this "healing" process.!! It's going much more slowly than I would desire, and so much seems more difficult, and "lost" a bit. There are books written, quotes out there, and we all kinda believe --don't sweat the "small" stuff. Pfffft! It's the "small" stuff that's giving me such tough issues right now. Go figure!
