Family LOVE...

Today we had a bit of a "family" get-together. Not  your usual.....eat, talk, fun enjoyment!
Lamar's brother &  nephew drove up from Flovilla to build a wheelchair ramp. We needed to have the ramp to get David in/out of the house. It is necessary for our Mon. trip to a Dr. w/David.
Eric was here and he also helped build this ramp. It will still need a coat of paint and side piece "guard" so wheels won't "jump" off in transport. Eric has really been an immeasurable help to us since David joined our household.
The discussions and actual building of the ramp took approx. 5hrs. or so. Marc, John and Eric did a fantastic job. We do so appreciate all 3 of them for this work.

No words can explain.....having FAMILY who volunteer to build or help  however they can....coming together for a common goal. It truly is God's blessing for me to belong to such a fine family.
Brothers indeed DO stick together....thru thick & thin, good & bad times. It makes my heart smile.......:)

    They did a great job!! I wouldn't have even known where to start. It looks fabulous. And will make it easy for the kids to skateboard at Grandma's now. :)

My 1st birthday Parteeee! I had waited a while for this one! No adjectives seem appropriate, to convey my A.Ma.Zing day. ALL the Kudos go to Donnie&Pam -the arrangements, (held in their beautiful home), deco, food & #1 Surprise of it all.!! {TY also to the SONS, for contributing $ to the party; Ronda, Vickie & Sue --for Food they brought. I had asked NO presents --just the PRESENCE, of my Family & Friends.....that fell thru! Gifts were ALL wonderful, cards so Sweet. {Sadly, a few out-of-town FRIENDS, weren't able to make the party. So Beautiful, & my special SUNFLOWER theme.{Sunflower "love" began w/EVONNE --after she made me a Decoupage plate w/Sunflowers. the "REST OF THE STORY"......

I did soooo Love Paul Harvey. His stories were always so interesting.....and, he researched to bring a story to an often unknown ending. The "rest of the story" always let ya know.....the circle was closed on that topic for him. In that fashion....I wanted to do this blog. I love photography. I'm quite a happy amateur! Now, with Pinterest I get to see unlimited talent. This picture was one that "drew me in"....After I pinned it.....there were like 30+ other people who loved it too! This picture received the most pins on my boards. Just look at it....Never did try to track down the photographer. Only went as far as where the pin originated. Browsing pinterest boards is a fun pastime. I enjoy "following" pictures/quotes and such as far as I dare. In browsing.....I "fell into" a site. The photographer is TIMOTHY WALKER. LIFE Lessons .....Learning Again !!

This blog is a confession and statement of "new" learning for me. The "darkness" of an "acute" illness, and the healing from that, has been a reality check in full measure! I'm a Believer. I'm one who praises God, prays all the time, and am confident of the Love of my Father. That statement made -- I am still filled w/human nature and it's quircks! We all get "comfortable" in our everyday lives and routines. Well. Mine has been blown apart w/this "healing" process.!! It's going much more slowly than I would desire, and so much seems more difficult, and "lost" a bit. There are books written, quotes out there, and we all kinda believe --don't sweat the "small" stuff. Pfffft! It's the "small" stuff that's giving me such tough issues right now. Go figure!
