Blessings Daily 13

NUMBERS...that's today's blessing & happiness word.
Lamar had a physical and received his "readings" today. Everything was very good. His sugar read was up a bit, but seems to run that way thru all check-ups.
The biggest news: his triglycerides were 93..omg...that  is the absolute LOWEST he (or I) have ever gotten! Somethin is definitely workin very well. Since that is the read concerning "blockage materials/fats" it is truly excellent news. 
We have this running "competition" w/our "reads" each time! See who's doing the best job of stayin healthy---at our ages, it's important to keep track of such VIP info and "adjust" lifestyle accordingly.
Honestly....I prefer my attempt to keep healthy w/o numerous drugs. Sadly, he swallows a literal handful of pills every morning, and a couple @ nite.(bout a doz. in all!) Thank God, I'm only taking 4 prescribed ones + my daily vitamins. 
Lamar believes pills will do the trick with no other effort....maybe these reads prove he may be correct! I try to use reasonable choices to maintain my numbers. I want to do this on my own...w/o sooooo many pills to swallow. 
Happiness for Lamar is truly a good reason to count NUMBERS as my blessing for today.
He is my love, my husband, friend and companion for life and I want him around forever! Lamar would be ok w/o me....but I would NOT ever be ok w/o him in my life....simple.

My 1st birthday Parteeee! I had waited a while for this one! No adjectives seem appropriate, to convey my A.Ma.Zing day. ALL the Kudos go to Donnie&Pam -the arrangements, (held in their beautiful home), deco, food & #1 Surprise of it all.!! {TY also to the SONS, for contributing $ to the party; Ronda, Vickie & Sue --for Food they brought. I had asked NO presents --just the PRESENCE, of my Family & Friends.....that fell thru! Gifts were ALL wonderful, cards so Sweet. {Sadly, a few out-of-town FRIENDS, weren't able to make the party. They were All on my mind & in my heart, tho.} 2 even mailed gifts!! TY to Betty & Charlene. Pam's deco was to the moon! So Beautiful, & my special SUNFLOWER theme.{Sunflower "love" began w/EVONNE --after she made me a Decoupage plate w/Sunflowers. Still hangs in my kitchen.} There were SUNFLOWERS, Everywhere! {even in the bathroom! So cute.} The cake....w/Cupcakes.... It was a ME day! Pictures w/Family

LIFE Lessons .....Learning Again !!

This blog is a confession and statement of "new" learning for me. The "darkness" of an "acute" illness, and the healing from that, has been a reality check in full measure! I'm a Believer. I'm one who praises God, prays all the time, and am confident of the Love of my Father. That statement made -- I am still filled w/human nature and it's quircks! We all get "comfortable" in our everyday lives and routines. Well. Mine has been blown apart w/this "healing" process.!! It's going much more slowly than I would desire, and so much seems more difficult, and "lost" a bit. There are books written, quotes out there, and we all kinda believe --don't sweat the "small" stuff. Pfffft! It's the "small" stuff that's giving me such tough issues right now. Go figure! the "REST OF THE STORY"......

I did soooo Love Paul Harvey. His stories were always so interesting.....and, he researched to bring a story to an often unknown ending. The "rest of the story" always let ya know.....the circle was closed on that topic for him. In that fashion....I wanted to do this blog. I love photography. I'm quite a happy amateur! Now, with Pinterest I get to see unlimited talent. This picture was one that "drew me in"....After I pinned it.....there were like 30+ other people who loved it too! This picture received the most pins on my boards. Just look at it....Never did try to track down the photographer. Only went as far as where the pin originated. Browsing pinterest boards is a fun pastime. I enjoy "following" pictures/quotes and such as far as I dare. In browsing.....I "fell into" a site. The photographer is TIMOTHY WALKER.
