Blessings Daily

I really like the Dec. daily that Ginger&Ami did this past month. 
I intend to make this my month of NOTED BLESSINGS. I want to begin the new year with a positive and thankful attitude.


Today, I'm led to say that Lamar is, has and always will be God's blessing to me and our family. We soon will celebrate 31yrs. together...who knew!
This day is more of a FUN recognition, though....Lamar made his FAMOUS cornbread for us. He makes it so well it almost has the consistency of cake! I've used the same recipe and yet, it never quite attains the level of his! (note: Stacey has been making it w/the same recipe and Marc says it's verrrrry good.)
The cornbread was the "hub", so to speak, of our New Year's Day meal. It made the rest just "side items"!!
Our sides were fried okra, black-eyed peas, and ham. It was a very good dinner.
Lamar has many wonderful, loving and generous traits. We all love him for all those reasons....but, the thing he does w/cornbread, fish&hushpuppies, and biscuits make the love grow expotentially!!
So, this first blessing daily is : I'm thanking God for Lamar in our lives. He was well worth waitin 7(seven), looong single years to find! I FOUND the gold at the end of my rainbow....

#7 - 0 CELEBRATION !

My 1st birthday Parteeee! I had waited a while for this one! No adjectives seem appropriate, to convey my A.Ma.Zing day. ALL the Kudos go to Donnie&Pam -the arrangements, (held in their beautiful home), deco, food & #1 Surprise of it all.!! {TY also to the SONS, for contributing $ to the party; Ronda, Vickie & Sue --for Food they brought. I had asked NO presents --just the PRESENCE, of my Family & Friends.....that fell thru! Gifts were ALL wonderful, cards so Sweet. {Sadly, a few out-of-town FRIENDS, weren't able to make the party. They were All on my mind & in my heart, tho.} 2 even mailed gifts!! TY to Betty & Charlene. Pam's deco was to the moon! So Beautiful, & my special SUNFLOWER theme.{Sunflower "love" began w/EVONNE --after she made me a Decoupage plate w/Sunflowers. Still hangs in my kitchen.} There were SUNFLOWERS, Everywhere! {even in the bathroom! So cute.} The cake....w/Cupcakes.... It was a ME day! Pictures w/Family

the "REST OF THE STORY"......

I did soooo Love Paul Harvey. His stories were always so interesting.....and, he researched to bring a story to an often unknown ending. The "rest of the story" always let ya know.....the circle was closed on that topic for him. In that fashion....I wanted to do this blog. I love photography. I'm quite a happy amateur! Now, with Pinterest I get to see unlimited talent. This picture was one that "drew me in"....After I pinned it.....there were like 30+ other people who loved it too! This picture received the most pins on my boards. Just look at it....Never did try to track down the photographer. Only went as far as where the pin originated. Browsing pinterest boards is a fun pastime. I enjoy "following" pictures/quotes and such as far as I dare. In browsing.....I "fell into" a site. The photographer is TIMOTHY WALKER.
