Blessings Daily 14

BEGINNING...Started modest up-date on 1/2 bath today.
Excited to get this done. First order of business...new exhaust fan! Need it yesterday...lol  That   is the one also used by company overflow. The old one wasn't working and only let COLD air in thru that dang hole! Freezing in the winter & hot in the summer...there's no vent in there for heat/air anyway.
Eric will put down vinyl floor piece left over frm Lamar's room. Know it will look better than what's been in there for the last 30yrs!
Previously had changed out the faucet....needed that, too. Will paint and then the best part----deciding what deco to use. No ideas have knocked me out as yet. Got rid of ALL the fish items....granddaughter loved the border, which had a fish that looked like Nemo to her. I liked it, too, but now am ready to move on....
Replacing light fixture over sink and we're done!
I love being on a "project"!! Girlfriend asked after Lamar's room was finished...what's next...she knew there would be something to put me into focus!
I'm thankful this project is in the works...it is a real blessing to be able to do  up-dates in this house.
This one will only take a few days.....then to figure out, ofcourse, what's next?????     LOL

My 1st birthday Parteeee! I had waited a while for this one! No adjectives seem appropriate, to convey my A.Ma.Zing day. ALL the Kudos go to Donnie&Pam -the arrangements, (held in their beautiful home), deco, food & #1 Surprise of it all.!! {TY also to the SONS, for contributing $ to the party; Ronda, Vickie & Sue --for Food they brought. I had asked NO presents --just the PRESENCE, of my Family & Friends.....that fell thru! Gifts were ALL wonderful, cards so Sweet. {Sadly, a few out-of-town FRIENDS, weren't able to make the party. They were All on my mind & in my heart, tho.} 2 even mailed gifts!! TY to Betty & Charlene. Pam's deco was to the moon! So Beautiful, & my special SUNFLOWER theme.{Sunflower "love" began w/EVONNE --after she made me a Decoupage plate w/Sunflowers. Still hangs in my kitchen.} There were SUNFLOWERS, Everywhere! {even in the bathroom! So cute.} The cake....w/Cupcakes.... It was a ME day! Pictures w/Family

LIFE Lessons .....Learning Again !!

This blog is a confession and statement of "new" learning for me. The "darkness" of an "acute" illness, and the healing from that, has been a reality check in full measure! I'm a Believer. I'm one who praises God, prays all the time, and am confident of the Love of my Father. That statement made -- I am still filled w/human nature and it's quircks! We all get "comfortable" in our everyday lives and routines. Well. Mine has been blown apart w/this "healing" process.!! It's going much more slowly than I would desire, and so much seems more difficult, and "lost" a bit. There are books written, quotes out there, and we all kinda believe --don't sweat the "small" stuff. Pfffft! It's the "small" stuff that's giving me such tough issues right now. Go figure! the "REST OF THE STORY"......

I did soooo Love Paul Harvey. His stories were always so interesting.....and, he researched to bring a story to an often unknown ending. The "rest of the story" always let ya know.....the circle was closed on that topic for him. In that fashion....I wanted to do this blog. I love photography. I'm quite a happy amateur! Now, with Pinterest I get to see unlimited talent. This picture was one that "drew me in"....After I pinned it.....there were like 30+ other people who loved it too! This picture received the most pins on my boards. Just look at it....Never did try to track down the photographer. Only went as far as where the pin originated. Browsing pinterest boards is a fun pastime. I enjoy "following" pictures/quotes and such as far as I dare. In browsing.....I "fell into" a site. The photographer is TIMOTHY WALKER.
